When I was little our family would go to the Original Pancake House after church many Sunday afternoons. Aside from the delicious crepes, or Apple Pancake, my personal favorite was the Dutch Baby pancake, a German pancake. Sweet and satisfying for the tummy. French toast to the next level folks, is stuffed with love and all the yummy goodness. We add some tasty surprises inside of our french toast. Everybody has a seat at The Table Today is National Coffee Day (or #internationalcoffeeday) and I can't think of any better way to celebrate it then to share a post on my favorite local coffee shop. The farm was so busy this past spring and it has been a while since I posted a new blog. Spring came in beautifully with nice rainy weather and the garden did well. Our family enjoyed the season. Flavorful Bone Broth Egg Drop Soup One favorite appliance in the house lately is the Instant Pot. Every week we find ourselves cooking one of our pasture raised chickens in the pressure cooker. We ofen season the chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, garlic salt, and onion powder. When we cook our chickens we add about an inch of water at the bottom of the pot for moisture and steam. Once we remove the chicken from the pot we let the drippings and broth cool before bottling the bon [...]
